Know whats around you at all times and allow space so you can react to things that may happen.
Take the time to pre trip your equipment everyday and do a walk around evrytime you stop.
When at your pick ups and deliveries, make a point to take your time in there yard and listen to & follow the instructions given by there employees.
The goal is to keep the wheels so you make money and get home to your families in one piece.
- Trucking companies, help your drivers do there job better and more efficiently.
Dispatchers be supportive of your drivers, understand your drivers are individuals, listen to them, and don't push them unnecissarily.
Safety departments, educate your drivers and use a preventive management approach.
Recruiters, the need to fill seats is great, but make a point to be up front with prospective drivers and make sure they understand you so there is no miscommunication.
